Cancellation Policy

Life happens. Here is exactly how cancellations work — no fine-print surprises, no hidden fees.

01. The 24-Hour Window

You can cancel or reschedule any booking for free as long as you let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled service time. No fee, no penalty, no question.

02. Late Cancellation Fee

If you cancel inside the 24-hour window before your booking, a $50 late cancellation fee is deducted from your refund. The rest is returned to your original payment method within 5 business days.

This fee covers the routing, supplies, and staff hours we've already committed to your booking. It is a partial reimbursement of cost — not a profit center.

03. Same-Day Reschedule

If you need to move your booking to a different day but are inside the 24-hour window, contact us as quickly as possible. We will try to fit you into another open slot in the same week without charging the late fee.

This is goodwill on our part, not a guarantee — it depends on what the route looks like and how booked the week is.

04. Lockouts

If our team arrives at your address during your scheduled window and cannot get inside because the door code is wrong, the key is missing, or the entry instructions don't work, we will:

  1. Call and text you immediately
  2. Wait up to 20 minutes for a response
  3. If we cannot gain entry, leave for our next stop

A lockout that prevents us from cleaning is treated as a same-day cancellation. 50% of your booking total is forfeited to cover the drive, dispatched supplies, and the lost time slot.

To avoid this: confirm your entry instructions before service day. Test door codes yourself. Make sure the spare key is where you said it would be.

05. Weather Cancellations

Northwest Arkansas weather is unpredictable. We cancel for:

  • Icy roads that make driving unsafe
  • Active tornado warnings in your county
  • Severe winter storms

If we cancel due to weather, we contact you as early as possible and reschedule to the next available date with no fee. You don't pay anything until your rescheduled cleaning is complete.

If you cancel for weather we judge safe to drive in, the standard 24-hour rule applies.

06. Recurring Service Cancellations

Recurring service is billed per visit, with no contract. You can cancel future visits at any time by emailing hello@itiscleaned.com. There are no cancellation fees and no exit penalty.

Visits already completed are not refundable. Future visits scheduled within 24 hours of your cancellation request follow the standard late cancellation rule above.

07. How to Cancel or Reschedule

The fastest ways:

  • Email: hello@itiscleaned.com — include your booking date in the subject line
  • Reply directly to your confirmation email
  • Text the number you received your day-before reminder from

We confirm every cancellation in writing. If you don't receive a confirmation within a few hours, assume we didn't receive your request and try again.

08. Refund Timing

When a refund is owed, it is processed through PayPal back to your original payment method. PayPal typically posts the refund within 3-5 business days, depending on your card issuer. If a refund is more than 7 business days late, email us and we will investigate.
