Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of itiscleaned.com and the cleaning services we provide. By booking through our website, you agree to them. We've written them in plain English on purpose — if something isn't clear, email us.

01. About Us

It Is Cleaned is a residential cleaning service based in Rogers, Arkansas, serving Benton and Washington counties. You can reach us at hello@itiscleaned.com.

02. What We Do

We provide standard and deep cleaning of residential homes. Every booking includes the work listed in the "What's Included" section on our homepage. Anything not on that list is either an add-on you can select during booking or is not part of our service. The full list of things we do not handle — including laundry, organizing, exterior windows, biohazards, and contractor coordination — is published on our homepage and applies to every booking.

03. Booking and Pricing

Our prices are set by the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home plus any add-ons you select. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We do not add fees, taxes, or surcharges after the fact.

If we arrive at your home and find conditions that differ significantly from what was selected during booking — for example, an extra bathroom that wasn't listed, or unusual mess from construction or a recent move — we will contact you to discuss adjusted pricing before starting work. If you decline the adjustment, we will refund your payment in full and leave.

04. Payment

Payment is collected at booking through PayPal, which handles credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, PayPal balances, and PayPal Pay Later (split payments). We do not see, store, or have access to your card information — that is held entirely by PayPal.

For recurring service, each cleaning is billed separately after the visit is completed. We do not auto-enroll you in recurring service or charge you for future visits without your explicit confirmation.

05. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Our full cancellation policy is at cancellation.html. In short: cancel or reschedule with 24+ hours notice for free. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking time incur a $50 fee.

06. Our Right to Refuse or Stop Service

We may decline service or stop a job in progress if any of the following are present at your home:

  • Biohazards: raw sewage, blood, drug residue, or animal waste beyond normal pet messes
  • Active pest infestation (roaches, bedbugs, rodents)
  • Conditions consistent with hoarding that prevent safe access
  • Structural hazards: collapsed ceilings, exposed wiring, mold beyond a surface stain
  • Threatening, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior by anyone at the property

If we refuse service for any of these reasons, we will refund your full payment within 5 business days.

07. Our Satisfaction Promise

If any part of our standard work isn't done well, contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return at no extra charge to fix it. The remedy is the return visit — we do not issue cash refunds for completed work.

This promise covers the work we agreed to do. It does not cover work outside the scope of your booking. For example, if you booked a standard clean and afterward felt you actually needed a deep clean, that is not a quality issue and is not covered under this promise.

08. Your Responsibilities Before We Arrive

To get the best result and protect your belongings, please:

  • Move valuables, sensitive electronics, and irreplaceable items away from cleaning surfaces
  • Secure any pets that may be aggressive or anxious around strangers
  • Provide clear entry instructions (door code, lockbox combination, hidden key location)
  • Note in the booking comments anything fragile, allergies to specific products, or areas we should not touch

We are not responsible for damage to items that should reasonably have been moved or secured before service.

09. Property Damage

We carry general liability insurance through ERGO Next. If something is damaged during a clean, contact us within 24 hours so we can document and process the claim. We work with you in good faith to repair, replace, or reimburse for accidental damage caused by our team.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage to items already broken, cracked, loose, or worn before service
  • Normal wear from cleaning (slight fading on already-faded paint, polish on worn finishes)
  • Items not properly secured per Section 8

10. Non-Solicitation of Staff

Our cleaning team are employees or contractors of It Is Cleaned. They are not your employees. You agree not to hire any member of our team directly for residential cleaning work for 12 months after your last service with us. This protects the training, vetting, and onboarding we have invested in our staff.

11. Communication

By booking, you consent to receive transactional messages — booking confirmations, day-before reminders, on-the-way alerts, and receipts — by email and SMS at the contact info you provide. We do not send marketing messages without separate opt-in.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Arkansas law, our total liability for any claim related to a cleaning is limited to the amount you paid for that specific cleaning. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our business evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Changes apply to bookings made after the update. Bookings already paid for are governed by the terms that were in effect when they were paid.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or our service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Benton County, Arkansas.
